Happy Days At The 50s HangOut Tonight

It was just like "Happy Days" at the HangOut tonight and I expected the Fonze to walk through the door at any moment. The club looked amazing as a Fifties Coffee Bar.  HangOut owner and dj Janis Short had created an authentic 50s and early 60s atmosphere,  not only with the club itself, but also with a fantastic set of songs from that era.  The clubbers looked sensational in their 50s outfits, very colourful and lots of fun.  Second Life is a great vehicle for time travel and everyone loved being zoomed back to the fifties tonight.  A big thank you to Janis for all the hard work she does to keep the HangOut one of the top clubs in SL.

For more fun at the HangOut join dj's Minxy and Brain on Saturday from noon until 2pm (SLT).

Wild West At Muckers Was Just Amazing - Great Event In Aid Of The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

It was truly a Wild West theme at Muckers tonight, the tumbleweed rolled across the floor, the cactus grew through the floorboards and a long horned bull dominated the centre of the room waiting for people to try to ride him!  The cowboys, cowgirls, saloon girls and native Indians danced the night away to some brilliant Country and Western tunes, courtesy of DJ Minxy. Berni made us all welcome as the Club's hostess.   Club owner Brucie Lusch and Max Artemesia had done a fabulous job decorating the club making it into a Wild West bar and it was all for a great cause called Squirtfest! Yes Squirtfest is the annual benefits event for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and tonight it was held in honour of DJ Minxy's nephew, who is Seska's son, affectionately known as "Squirt". Seska's little son has Cystic Fibrosis.  We had lots of fun as we took it in turns to ride the fierce looking bull, people did really well to hang on!  After riding and getting chucked off of the bull I joined the Frockettes, the Wild West dance troupe on the other side of the room. It was a bit tricky for me trying to keep up with the profesional dance group after being tossed around on the bull a few minutes earlier I can tell you!

What a fantastic night and donations were pouring in for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.  If you wish to give some money please contact Minxy Woodsheart or SeskaKelle Resident in world.
