Celebrating Surviving The Blood Moon At The HangOut Club!

End of the world? Well not just yet! But the Blood Moon happened last night with lots of prophasise of doom and gloom flying around the internet about our final destruction!  Don't let those b.....ds get you down!  And yes we are still here at the moment. I was lucky enough to see the Blood Moon, and it was very impressive, one of the amazing sights from within our crazy mixed up Matrix!  To celebrate the planet's survival I went over to the HangOut Club where DJ/Owner Janis Short was spinning some brilliant tunes straight out of that real life 60s era at the legendary Marquee Club which was situated in Wardour Street, London.  Time and space doesn't corrupt such great music and we had a terrific time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON

It was Simon Seurat's Birthday today and Simon had a party at his home in Second Life to celebrate his big day.  We were invited to his beautiful sea fronted virtual house which made a lovely setting for the get-together.  Simon dj'd and he played all his favourite tunes (ours too, what a great selection!).  Hope you had a brilliant time Simon, we all did! And a very Happy Birthday to you!!

Juke Box Party At The HangOut

DJ Janis Short

The invite said "JOIN JANIS FOR AN AMAZING JUKE BOX PARTY FEATURING THE SONGS OF LEIBER & STOLLER, DOC POMUS, CYNTHIA WEILL & BARRY MANN, CAROLE KING & GERRY GOFFIN  AND ELLIE GREENWICH  ....BRILL BUILDING ROCK!!! SOME OF THE BEST TUNES EVER WRITTEN!! WEAR YOUR FIFTIES & EARLY SIXTIES CLOTHES AND BE READY TO DANCE YOUR TOOTSIES OFF!!!"

Yes, it was another great night at the very popular HangOut Club with DJ/Club Owner Janis Short treating us to an evening of pure magic with tunes from the late 50s and early 60s!  From dirndl skirts to tight pencil skirts for the girls and baseball jackets to smart close fitting suits with winkle picker shoes or Converse trainers for the boys! Everyone looked the part for a swinging Retro Party.   Jiving or doing the Twist, the dancing was red hot and the clubbers had a brilliant time!  Thanks for a terrific party Janis (And Janis, don't forget to write that book about your part in the real life music industry, hint, hint!)
