Hi Seany,

It's really ok, I'm freelance so write about a lot of things, they can specialise in London stuff as they have first hand knowledge by working there, so it saves me digging for forthcoming events as I had to before. I wish them all the luck with this, there is plenty of room for everyone, and getting other people's perspectives is always a good idea, so I will enjoy reading them.

Yes you are right, it would have been nice for them to tell me, I would have promoted it for them as I do all London things if I can. By coincidence anyway I had decided to open up the blog to include other London sims in the grid, which I started with the Whitechapel 1888 article, and I think people will love to explore some of the other places as well as Virtual London. The real London has such a wealth of places and history that there are always stories to tell when people re-create it in SL.

Was checking out something today and all references to your blogs are removed by Torric and changed into a link to the new London Sims.

Hi Auti,

Yes I know, it's a shame really as I promoted the sims for free and put a lot of hard work into it too, which I also enjoyed I might add. I print the news, whether it’s good or sometimes bad, but it’s still news and a record of what actually happens. It seems that people are a little bit too sensitive to open debate, which is also a pity for them, as it’s the customers that keep the sims alive and without their opinions, if things are wrong, the customers will just move on. I wish them well with their new blog, it looks as if they are off to a good start, and I’m sure they will have lots of people looking at it. I will continue to publish all things with London connections and I will keep my blog open and honest as I have always done.

I have to say I am really quite shocked and saddened by the behaviour of the people in this blog as i have know all you guys for ages and you know me. I know people will shout "anonymous" but has anyone considered that this witch hunt is extremely off putting to those of us who have read this for a long time and that some of us are hiding from all of you in the hopes that you are not going to force us to choose a side.

Sure, maybe they should have let the editor know they were putting in their own system, but also, if you stand back a moment and look at what is being said about Virtual London, you lot are bashing the living daylights out of it and I can understand why they took this route. That is not to say I condone it, but I certainly understand it.

I've also noticed that Virtual London has not publicly commented here or anywhere else that I am aware of, so all we see is the same people in here saying some pretty awful things.

Even if its true, you are damaging yourselves as you are appealing to others who frankly will say anything.

Ok thats off my chest. You can get back to shouting "anonymous" know.. but I had to let you know, it really is time to concentrate on your own ventures, some of the aggression in here is not going to win you friends and as sim owners, your need to rise above all this and stop slinging the mud.

Yours, Anon :)

Hi anon,

Your points are as welcome here as everyone else’s and I would love to hear from people from all sides, so any comments from management or community are equally treated with respect as far as I am concerned. All I ask is that people are not personally offensive to each other, but I am proud that this is a platform where people can air their views.

Anonymous, I must say that I am seriously upset by your comments on those of us "in this blog". I have not participated in a witch hunt. I have bashed no one. I do not appeal to others to say anything for me. I am quite capable of speaking for myself and I do so without writing anonymously. I have always tried to write fair accounts of whatever is going on in the sims. It has been a great pleasure for me to write about the London sims for Virtually London (lite) for over 18months now,and I hope to continue to do so in the future. I sincerely hope that will be possible as Virtual London has always been a special place for me.
Anonymous, you say that you have known me for ages. How am I supposed to respond then when I do not know who you are?
