Election HQ in Virtual Kensington

I’m not sure how many of you have been taking an interest in the forthcoming UK general elections, which will take place on May 6 (well if you haven’t you should be!! or maybe you are sick of it all already, but please use your vote, this is probably the most important election for the past 100 years in the UK). Well now you can keep bang up to date with what is going on without leaving SL. An Election HQ, opened by Kirkland Coba, has been set up in virtual Kensington. Plus I will be bringing you more news about election events in virtual London as soon as I hear about it, as there are quite a few plans in the pipeline. Kirk’s HQ does not favour any particular party, but is an SL information outlet, and probably the first in the Second Life grid, for UK election updates. He is busily getting banners sent to him from the main parties at the moment and you will be able to obtain them from the HQ once they reach him.
I met up with new Kensington manager Rob Fenwich yesterday and he is doing a great job managing the sim, there are quite a few shops to visit once you have checked out the Election HQ, so why not teleport over for a look, you might be bored with politics, but you can buy some goodies in virtual Kensington!!
