Avebury by watcher Castaignede

Wednesday was Contemporary Designer day at Virtual London Fashion Week. The first designer presented was watcher Castaignede of the Avebury label. Castaignede creates fashions for all occasions, casual daywear, business appropriate clothing and evening gowns.

The first part of the show was devoted to casual clothing, chic and edgy and so cool that you could feel a chill as the models strode by. Pant legs were very skinny, colours were vibrant, for the most part, and despite the fact that this was casual clothing, fabrics were sumptuous. Accessories such as belts, bags and sunglasses finished off the looks, while footwear ranged from boots to pumps to trainers.

First down the runway was Sweetest Sand wearing red passion flower covered skinny jeans. She was followed by CandiO Contemponi in a red military jacket, black jeans and chuck style trainers. Next was Chirzaka Vlodovic in a very striking, bright pink silk blouse, matching pink Avebury Spirit boots and black jeans.

The models returned to the catwalk for a second time in casual clothing. Sweetest wore a beautiful purple and plum tartan peacoat and darkwash ripped jeans. CandiO was comfortably outfitted in a dark green striped sweater and ripped jeans, while Chirzaka appeared in lightwash jeans with cuffs, dark purple sweater and short down vest.

The next outfits could be worn on casual office days or relaxed weekend outings. All three models wore tartan silk-lined minis, available in berry, teal or frost, with coordinating polo shirts. Boots or ballet slippers completed the outfits.

The show finished with gowns from Avebury’s couture line. Sweetest Sand came down the catwalk in a salmon coloured dress, with a ruched bodice and two tiny black bows at the waist. This was complemented by black pumps and elbow length gloves. CandiO Contemponi appeared in a strikingly elegant claret coloured gown and Chirzaka Vlodovic ended the show in a slinky body conscious sheath.
Avebury is a label that provides discerning patrons with outfits for all times of the day, from early morning coffee with friends to late night cocktails in a jazz club. Luxury, refinement and fine tailoring all combine in these sophisticated and modern styles.
