Regent Street Lights in SL London

It was late at night, and I had been riding through SL London on my horse a week or so ago, (it’s a good way to get around to see everything) and as I entered Knightsbridge I saw some amazing Christmas lights. They are pale blue mesh star shapes that twinkle against the sky, looking really pretty. They also look very modern, without losing that festive Christmas feeling, so they look great in the modern day SL London.

It is quite incredible when you see how close the SL version is to the real life ones in Regent Street, London. The real lights were switched on by top band McFly on 7 November 2008 in front of a huge crowd who braved the cold to see them.

The SL lights were kindly donated and put up by Atine Anatine who owns two fabulous boutiques, @Designs, in Knightsbridge and Mayfair. Many thanks Atine for your wonderful present to SL London. For the residence and visitors to the virtual capital, there is a real seasonal atmosphere, snow covered areas, and Christmas decorations in the shops and private houses and apartments, it’s a great place to be.
