Bucking Bull and Bungee Jumping

As I wandered through SL Mayfair yesterday, I spotted something you don't normally see in the real life Mayfair, a fearsome looking bull!! Not a real bull you understand, but a model. It's a great game, you have to try to stay on the bull's back while it bucks to throw you off. There was already a score, showing the people who had stayed on it for the longest. Well I decided to have a go, clicking on the bull and choosing 'ride' in the options. Ride? well hardly, hold on was more like it! As the bull started to move, I thought this is easy, he wasn't moving very much, but then he got going and bucked all over the place, throwing me to the ground. I did however, manage to stay on him for a few seconds, and for that I got a prize. There is a prize given away every time you ride the bull, no matter how long you stay on him, so it's worth having a go anyway. I decided to try again, and did stay on for a touch longer the second time, receiving another prize for my efforts.

You would think I would be shaken up enough for one day, but foolishly I decided to go to Big Ben in SL Chelsea and try the bungee jumping game that is now open. I climbed the clock tower (well teleported anyway!) and stood on the platform high in the sky. I clicked on the bungee jumping device and whooooosh! I was away, falling downwards only to be dragged back up again when the bungee rope stretched to its full length. You really get the feeling of falling and bouncing back up towards the sky, it's very exciting and if you are clever you can aim for the target far down on the ground.

I tried to take some pictures as I fell, but found it impossible, but then I'm not the best photographer in SL and I'm sure some other avatars will get some great shots. That's me the dot on the right of the picture. I will go back and take some pictures of other people though, and also ask them what they think about it. After the bull and the bungee jumping, I staggered, as if drunk, back to my Chelsea apartment for a lay down!!
